Saw the new Predator movie. If I only worked 4 days a week I would see more movies in the theater.
A ★★★★ review of Predator: Badlands (2025)
When Prey came out I was ten minutes from the end of the movie when my TV caught on fire. Just saying. I was not expecting high art, but as a pulpy silly weird SF action movie it was everything I was ...

Book review up for @dharlanwilson.bsky.social 's newest novel(ish) book that takes place in a hilarious post-reality dystopia with plenty asides on science fiction, and film that descends into memoir and a weird art manifesto.

Kinda bonkers Korean serial killer movie. Would've been more effective if the leads were more likable. They tried to make the mob boss likable. Entertaining, but just good, not great.
A ★★★½ review of The Gangster, the Cop, the Devil (2019)
Strange Korean crime thriller. After Serial killer almost kills a Korean Mob boss, the cop trying to bust him makes a bet with the mobster. Who will catch the killer first. The cop couldn't be any mor...

A super violent Samurai movie about warring clans, one that embraces gun and technlogy and the 11 Samurai who attempt to hold their castle with swords. I mean I enjoyed it.
A ★★★★ review of 11 Rebels (2024)
A fun over-the-top super super-violent Samurai movie that starts off with a Dirty Dozen-like story, but it eventually becomes a seige story about the shifting war technology and the end of the Samurai...

What makes this movie so scary is to picture this happening with the current clown show in charge. Also everyone keeps saying this is Roshomon structured, and it is not.

Wuxia kungfu horror comedy - like a modern mister vampire. Totally bonkers. Drags in the middle a bit trying to develop a story. Nonetheless, I had fun.
