GOP Governor of Oklahoma

"What we're seeing on TV, it's causing deep concerns over federal tactics and accountability…We believe in federalism and state rights, and nobody likes feds coming into their state...Is it to deport every single non- U.S. citizen? I don't think that's what Americans want.”

"Our agents can kill people on weekends, but you can't serve us 'til Monday."
Update: In the evidence preservation lawsuit, the current Civil Chief at the Minnesota U.S. Attorney's Office (who appears to be Ana Voss, based on the letter), refused to accept email service of the lawsuit last night and then refused to accept in-person service until Monday.

Ridiculous behavior.

I just checked—it turns out that Art. II, Sec. 1 of the Constitution of the United States does *not* say "The executive Power shall be vested in a bunch of sociopaths who think they can do whatever the fuck they want and make shit up as they go along."

The killing of Alex Pretti is a heartbreaking tragedy. It should also be a wake-up call to every American, regardless of party, that many of our core values as a nation are increasingly under assault.

Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O'Hara: "People have had enough. This is the third shooting in less than 3 weeks. The MPD went the entire year last year recovering about 900 guns from the street, arresting hundreds of violent offenders, and we didn't shoot anyone ... this is not sustainable."

This is unbelievable. His gun was never in his hand.
To claim that "video" supports this claim is simply a lie, and millions of people know that.
The editors at the Post (if there are such people) are a disgrace to journalism.
They also said Pretti waved his gun in last nights headline. The @NYPost has long been a laughable lying scandal rag tabloid, but it’s mind-boggling how it’s become a total mouthpiece for Trump and his goon squad.

NOEM: I grieve for them. We can't have individuals that are impeding law enforcement operations and then showing up with guns and no ID

The United States Government’s position is that it is unlawful to watch law enforcement and you will be assaulted, it is treasonous to oppose their work and you will be executed for it, the President of the United States will defame you in death, and they will say “good job, law enforcement” on CNN.

In the early 1930s the SA was roughing people up, creating chaos in neighborhoods, seeking to terrorize with the occasional killing. By the late 1930s it had been supplanted by the SS, which was much better trained.
Also, may I say that I don’t agree with people saying ICE and CBP need “more training.” They’re doing exactly what this administration has trained them to—impose a reign of fear in blue cities. They don’t need more training. They need to be ripped up root and branch.

We all saw the video.

The CBP agent assaulted a women by shoving her to the ground. Then assaulted Pretti twice by pepper spraying him as he helped her up. Then assaulted him again by throwing him to the ground.

Then assaulted him repeatedly on the ground.

And then they shot him.
BASH: It feels as though you're blaming the victim here

BOVINO: The victims are the Border Patrol agents. I'm not blaming the Border Patrol agents. The victims are the Border Patrol agents.
