Trans Day of Remembrance is a day to honor and pay tribute to the lives that have been lost due to both systemic and bigoted violence.

It is a day to reassert our commitments to supporting trans, Two-Spirit, and gender diverse people, young and old.

"Scotland’s aristocratic families do not cling to their massive estates only because of income but because of the influence it confers – to them, and their children, and their children’s children. It is about controlling Scotland’s future in the way they control so much of its present."

Land is power – Scotland’s people have none
Land isn't just about wealth and justice, it's about power. Scotland is cut off from its own land resources and hence is poorer as a nation

Zohran's campaign was his determination to make New York a city everyone can afford to live in. Huge congratulations!

His success will resonate throughout the world. A story where no one is left behind.

It's time to write that story across England & Wales too.

From July.

Sarah Pochin said on Politics Live that it was “a fact” that Afghans and Eritreans are more likely to carry out sexual assaults.

Presenter Vicki Young then produced figures which showed that was not true.

We all know how this plays out. In no way is this diminishing the attack against the synagogue in Manchester. That was a horrific attack and anyone defending it, using whataboutery etc is utterly repugnant. It cannot be used to add to an atmosphere which leads to more attacks against others though.

Last week, trying to find arguments to convince my colleagues to stop binning paper clips, I went on a deep dive about what it takes to make one. There was a lot of crossover with this thread. Also - paperclips are reusable almost to infinity.

Tonight, countless calories will be burned powering the brains of analysts and political commentators, and millions of keystrokes spent explaining what happened in Alaska. Yet sometimes, a simple diagram explains it better than a PhD thesis:
