so far into the gutter now that Trump can make grotesque social media posts about opponents and it’s barely noticed.
Donald Trump is now reposting videos on Truth Social suggesting that Minnesota Governor Tim Walz had Melissa Hortman assassinated.

This is objectively evil, and calling it out should not be political.

I will say that the authors under-emphasize the importance / risk of this Supreme Court. Its personnel will long outlast the current administration, and are likely to invalidate any Congressional reforms in response to this era. Court reform is necessary for restoring US democracy going forward

This is astounding: "According to The Washington Post, plaintiffs in roughly 75 percent of the lawsuits challenging Trump’s executive orders during his first term were represented by large top-tier law firms. Only 15 percent of such plaintiffs were represented by top firms in 2025."

Farage banging 🇷🇺 Putin’s drum for him again. I’d missed this one regarding Russia’s novichok attack on British soil that killed a British woman.

How can anyone who considers themselves patriotic vote for him or his party?
Farage has been dismissing evidence of Russian ties to the Salisbury Novichok attack since 2018 🧐

It’s also not the way that any BBC political correspondents behaved during the all the chaos of the last Tory Government.
Can you imagine such a statement being released by the BBC when Boris was at the helm?
No that's not *your* on *our behalf*. Your job is to report the story, presenting all sides fairly and then *we* call it. What Mason is saying here is fundamentally not what the bbc is for!

Billions of unbudgeted commitments that the government is going to need to fund:

£6bn SEND
NHS pharma costs up due to US trade deal
£1.1bn if asylum plan doesn't work
£0.6 ID cards
£32 bn defence increase (not all needed in next few years)
Here be dragons.
