I get the funny feeling I've been here before. Not exactly déjà vu, more like dévà ju.

lovely bastard. extroverted introvert. social hermit. surfer hippie dude. electronically reprocessed for stereo. less is more, more or less.

No bigger than Lisa.
I was surprised by how small she is in real life.

We’re having a little screening tonight. I wonder if it holds up.
There's a lot to like in MOL. Rutles is my favorite.

I think it’s good in the sense that it’s still out there and offensive. There is no doubt about Terry - his directing is genius.
Unpopular Opinion:

The Meaning of Life is the best Python film.

Terry Jones is a genius, especially at directing.

Warners are bring one out a two volume disc of the music and the film. I think that’s on DVD.
It was a pleasure to be there. I especially liked the heartfelt stories about George H and the Rutles sequence. Would love to see a RWT box set, by the way!

I didn't have time for much of a run today, but I did step out for a quick mile.

Most of it in the lake, according to my GPS.

I had to slow down and stop to let the Sandhill crane cross the street. It was headed straight for the house with the pink flamingo lawn ornaments.

I meet with my old airline pal Eric every Thursday. Today marked the 24th anniversary of 9/11 and I forgot to even mention it! This photo was taken from the flight deck, pre-cellphone days, with Eric's disposable camera that he just happened to be carrying.

Hey, this is in my hometown! I wouldn't have known if you hadn't reposted this, @fionaskywalker.bsky.social. I run past Canadian geese and sandhill cranes (mere feet away) almost every day. Sandhills can be intimidating in stature, but I've yet to be attacked. I wonder where in Madison this is!

I try to steer clear of politics on this social media platform, but @jefftiedrich.bsky.social is always both spot on and highly entertaining at the same time.
from today's post, on New York's and California's governors promising to redraw their electoral maps if Texas goes ahead and redraws theirs.

Mom and I have a community garden plot together. We've enjoyed growing vegetables for years. It's something that we both really enjoy. It brings us closer.

Next year we are planning on paving it over with a sort of light color granite.
