I am not hating the #NASCAR Amazon Prime coverage. I think the quality is good, and it doesn’t hurt that they got my favorite driver out of retirement to be an announcer. I like seeing Carl Edwards back doing his thing! #CarlEdwards

Here is the problem with “smart tech” and smart home stuff in general. Perfectly functional hardware sunset for what looks like no reason. It works as a dumb thermostat, but I don’t see why it can’t have, even minimal, app functionality like home away assist.

Later this year, Google will stop supporting the 1st and 2nd generation Nest Learning Thermostat. This will result in a trio of changes, though Google is offering upgrade discounts to existing owners.
