The missus and I pitched / bounced about 5 different book ideas in the car while her prison-bound ex spam-texted her unhinged nonsense. The book ideas were 🔥🔥🔥 and ofc unrelated to the nonsense.

There's a reason my first couple books sucked and the new ones don't and it's 110% her.

Sarge slid back toward a pillar as more than a dozen weapon blasts chased him backwards. "They are in!" He shouted to no one in particular. Emma 18 stood staring, unmoved. She slowly drifted her hand back and forth, and seemed to be able to at least partially control the reflections. She was intensely searching for something, but Jake couldn't figure out what. A burst flashed from her position. Burning rock didn't fly away, but a splatter of carbon based viscera.

I've read a lot of articles and have yet to understand what makes a novel #upmarket.

Maybe I'm more an #engineer than an #author, but it sounds like its an opinion, not something the #writer did on purpose.

Does that mean #WarpDriveIntoLove is an #upmarket #darkromance #militaryscifi novel too?

my husband likes to pat me. He recently told me these pats have no meaning except I love you or its stim. I made up a whole patting language like 3 fast pats he's irritated, 2 fast pats is knock it off. It goes on and on. There is no pat language. He just loves me.

This may seem silly but shitty past relationships and whatever... my husband holds my hand. In the car, in the parking lot, at meetings,at the store literally everywhere. He does this cute little hand squeeze to let me know he has to let go. It makes me feel so loved and cared for.

QT with one little seemingly inconsequential thing a friend, spouse, or other loved one does that makes you feel loved.

For example, my spouse refills my weekly pillbox on Saturday nights. I've never seen her do it, but the pills are there on Sunday mornings.

"We are arrived about an hour before the crab arrives at a planet called TserTsehall", Emma 18 frowned, realizing her human vocal chord could never have made the right sounds. "This species was a quasi-sentient hive mind of about 52 billion individuals." Jake was visibly flustered, and interrupted, "Wait, wait, are we just going to sit around and watch these people die?"
