America was not interested in fulfilling any obligations that itself said it had. It was however, quite content with being American White. The white which was seeded by colonization was now a purely - American.

It is clear that factual evidence that is provable, requires intentional cognitive dissonance to preserve whiteness. It is not the “being white” which is problematic, it is the requirement of adherence to white supremacy tenants that is.

It is not uncommon to hear discourse in America after a tragedy, as to whether or not the person “deserved it” - What is unique to this country is that the dominant group uses it to reinforce a racial caste system and, assimilation with compliance. This is - white.

The most American thing.. is violence.

Social justice work is a reflection of intentional policy decisions. The norms of death being a part of the contract, is precisely why this moment will prove if the reaction is as usual.

Runaway slave ads were a reality in America as long as slavery existed. Appearing as broadsides and in newspapers, such ads offered monetary rewards from enslavers for the capture and return of people they enslaved who had fled bondage.

As a descendent of the system that at the time of the Civil War held 4,000,000 enslaved people ... safe has NEVER been our reality. And federally sanctioned violence is the norm ... until America no longer wants it to be.

If Minneapolis has you distraught .. and you’re wondering what’s next
You have choices:
A-Impeach and remove
B-Arrest and prosecute
C-Confront racism and end it or,
D-Preserve Whiteness

Like yesterday - for the entirety of 2025 and the 8 days of 2026 - America will choose whiteness.
