Aside from everything else, this is grotesque on a purely analytical level. Since the West weighed in, Ukraine has gained territory on net while Russia has expended huge amounts of men and material. Preserving Ukraine's independence to date has been a success!

Ik heb het idee dat Nederlandse nieuwssites missen dat de Amerikaanse overheid nu structureel wordt gezuiverd, gelijk geschakeld, onwelgevallige data wordt verwijderd, toezicht wordt afgebroken, officieren van justitie verwijderd etc, de enormiteit kan je ontgaan als je alleen NL nieuwssites leest

Besef, zonder 't recht om te demonstreren zijn we machteloos tegen onrecht. Het is de laatste verdedigingslinie van onze vrijheid, een stem tegen onderdrukking. Als dat wordt afgenomen, kunnen ze je alles opleggen, zonder verweer. Dan ben je niet langer een burger, maar een nummertje in hun systeem.
Ik zeg het wel vaker dat we met deze horrorcoalitie op 1 minuut voor 1933 zijn beland.
en op 11 februari stemt de eerste kamer over een wet die de minister de ruimte geeft om het bestaan van elke actiegroep zonder tussenkomst van de rechter per direct te verbieden.

De wet aanpassen helpt uiteraard niet om het verlies van biodiversiteit te stoppen en vervuiling te verminderen.
Het is veelzeggend dat populistisch uitspraken meer aandacht krijgen dan het feit dat een rechtbank oordeelt dat de staat onrechtmatig heeft gehandeld.
