The crows sings aloud what words avowed: three visions afloat that denote a new inflection. An end to misdirection and the titchy troubles of cultish bubbles, those tense structures that magnetize untrained eyes into knowing lies. Scandalized. Constant sighs. I welcome in what’s already within, just as I ought: an Enterprise of thought, to boldly go where spirits know; from cult to occult, from objection to reflection, from trained staff to wonky laughs and memories untold. Memories growing old, but never cold that reverberate and never hate, that contemplate and reciprocate in teaching and reaching, never preaching. They lie inside, where self cannot even hide from itself- that wealth of personality others rarely get to see. The free. The crow within that flies without. Never in doubt. I see the signs as I divine what my own heart means. What it screams. Where it finds you and I, a time to cry, a time to find another try. A time to die, when it comes. And it comes, on the calmest grin that always wins. That always won. But the journey’s not over when it’s done. The crow avows what’s never loud: when it comes, it’s just begun.

I remember you somewhere- answering the unasked with novel noises, intangible, uncertain, but yours. No demands, no commands, no posts to report to: only you. The heartfelt lullabies in mossy eyes. The original lack of lover’s guise. A soul’s journey in one look. Oh, what a dream the heart makes when the soul quakes in knowing. And what a dream we became as we both felt the same and let these hearts keep growing.

A new breeze beckons this passive mind from slumber. What a spell this sleeping life was under, as it played the role we all extol: our stoic sentinel, a person wearing well the expectations of liars’ gazes, the manipulations of those whom life rages into some sort of meaning. Those whom people believe without much dreaming. What I’m gleaming now is a new energy: how to pursue a new part of me: that kooky side that doesn’t hide inside from pride anymore. That bit that life tore. No longer always adjusting, now just robusting this call and choice and honest voice. See this is where the poem ends, but it continues to mend long after the words stop rhyming. Call it divine timing, I call it mining self from what life’s made of it. No more need to fit, just be. And like the breeze just wait and see.

Only, this had been a struggle worthwhile. Pushed from a never agreed to pedestal like a falling star, five rings of the bell were given.
