They've done it again, they've cut more rail projects. The most criminal one for me is cancelling the reopening of the Waterford-Wexford/Rosslare line. On the left is the All-island Rail Review published by the last government and on the right is the plan published today.

A lack of urgency and a lack of imagination. Luas Finglas & Dart+ South-West are shovel ready yet held up by government inaction alone.
Four months after it was promised, we finally have the government's transport investment plan between now and 2030. It's bad. Roads are in, public transport is out. A lot of public transport projects being put on the long-finger to make funding available for new roads.

I delivered the 700 page business case and cost benefit analysis for MetroLink to Michael O'Leary's office yesterday.

O'Leary said on RTÉ Radio that there’s been no cost-benefit analysis done on Metrolink which was then repeated on multiple news outlets.

Today marks 1000 days since the railway order application for MetroLink was submitted to An Bord Pleanála.

We marked the occasion by cutting a special MetroLink-themed cake outside ABP's offices to highlight the long delays for critical infrastructure in our planning system.

The incoming govt says it will ensure that all measures under the Nature Restoration Law will be completely voluntary for farmers. A law that is voluntary is no law at all. It's hard to see how this can comply with EU Regulations, and how it will deliver the necessary results.

If you are a Trinity graduate please consider lending your vote to my friend Hazel Chu, a tireless campaigner and staunch advocate for Climate and Equality.
Did you attend Trinity or have your degree awarded by #Trinity?

I want to be a strong voice in the Seanad for climate, for equality, and for a better Ireland.

I'm asking for your No. 1 vote or highest preference to ensure that we have a strong, progressive voice representing you in the Oireachtas.

The alliance of car park owners, Brown Thomas and Arnotts have initiated a judicial review against the new bus gates in the city centre.

They say that Dublin City Council 'acted beyond its powers' when it *checks notes* put up a few traffic signs.

Genuinely sorry to see Malcolm Noonan lose his seat.
A massive supporter of our built heritage he'll be a loss in the architectural community.
Had him on my radio show a few times, always a passionate voice. #ge24
