Does anyone know what these creatures are? Spotted them poking their heads out of the ice in a Massachusetts pond. The largest had heads the size of a ping pong ball. They look like tadpoles but seem so big? They were also hanging out in a mass of dozens in a nearby sunny hole #fish #tadpole #frog

I watched both Godzilla movies this weekend (Godzilla x Kong and Minus One). GxK was fairly fun but didn’t grab me whereas Godzilla Minus One was amazing—there were multiple points where Ryunosuke Kamiki’s acting brought me to ugly tears.

Saw The Fall Guy yesterday and loved it. It was cheesy, joyful, and sweet. Plus chock full of kick ass stunts that were a delight to watch. Pretty much a perfect summer movie. Stay for the credits to watch the real stunt peeps in action.

I can’t believe I’ve lived 39 bra-wearing years without realizing I’ve been wearing bras all wrong! You can find a comfy underwire that provides all day support. You just have to be properly fitted by someone who knows what they’re doing.

someone shared this excerpt from Patrick Stewart's autobiography and now I must share it here, and also read the whole thing sometime
(text too long to fit, not sure what to do here) The company was given a full day to rest and acclimate, but I couldn't sleep, and anyway, I was too eager to get out and explore. I walked aimlessly, and just when hunger was getting the best of me, I came across a hamburger stand on the corner of Beverly and Rampart Boulevards. There was a big sign on its roof that said TOMMY'S and quite a long line to get in, always a good sign. I noticed a couple of California Highway Patrol cars parked outside. When a third arrived, I observed that the cops, when they got out of their cars, didn't take their places at the end of the queue but went straight to the front and ordered. Already, a bit of local culture! What I had stumbled upon was the first location of the venerated local hamburger chain nowadays known as Original Tommy's. As I waited in the queue, I asked the man standing in front of me what I should order. He looked at me in disbelief, but I think my English accent convinced him of my

There is a species of water beetle that regularly gets swallowed whole by frogs. And while there’s a lot of things you can do to keep from being eaten, once you’re inside a frog, your options are severely limited. Generally you get digested. But this particular species of beetle said “You know, I bet there’s another way.” And it started walking. In fact, it walked through the frog’s digestive tract and out the back end. This is 100% true, you can look it up. 19 out of 20 of these beetles will simply walk out of the frog, unharmed. It usually takes them about an hour, although one beetle speed-ran the frog in five minutes, which I’m sure was very exciting for the frog. The moral of this story, if there is one, is that no matter how dark the situation, there is always a way through. And there’s always a light at the end of the frog.
