This is a rather unhelpful framing coming from (I assume) national diplomats. It suggests that the problem with EU competitiveness lies with the Commission, where as all EU regulation are passed by Council & Parliament.
If anything, it is usually the national capitals who are putting on brakes.

Det är beklagligt att vi ännu inte sett några prov och försök med drönarburar på våra stridsfordon och stridsvagnar. Det här med drönarhot i takvektorn är ju redan 5 år gammalt.

One of the most interesting gun camera sequences. The leader F-86 overshoots the MiG-15 after damaging it with .50 cal fire. The MiG in turn shoots and tears off the lead F-86's wing. The F-86 wingman ultimately destroys the MiG.

Abolish corporate tax and thus the deductions. And to compensate, tax capital income in the same way as salaries.
It will need some additional tweaking of rates but I think this would make field a little more level.
