Know what's tremendously disheartening? Taking all day to clear a driveway & 2 vehicles encased in snow, only to have more snow cover- (& now ice-)over all that (the white expanse in the driveway seen to the right in this video of more snow [illuminated by streetlight] was the hood of a blue truck)

AT LONG LAST: parents' unfriendly neighbor (whose 6-foot-tall-shed has routinely had a door blow off & sit--for weeks--just over the property line, killing my parents' grass) is finally re-organizing shed contents. Stepped out for a schmoke & heard loud bangs & exasperated sighs coming from the area

December 2009 (back when I still had a flip-phone w/o camera, so it's taken on a 3MP digital camera that I had to then attach to a laptop to upload the photos by sending them as verizon sms attachments...also, more of my face than anyone's seen...)

My septuagenarian parents have informed me that they've seen their backyard neighbor (husband's in healthcare & maybe his late 40s) using a leafblower to push leaves from his back berm (& the width of the alley) back over into their yard [apparently 'cause the leaves are off my parents' tree?]

Got distracted going back inside to refill containers Halloween night--& my vice-prop ended up falling into one of the boxes of treats...thankfully my youngest sister pulled it out before some 8-year-old chose it instead of a Tootsie-Roll or some Takis...
Might be lazy & do the Orson Welles getup again for handing out candy--if only because then I am REQUIRED to have a vice present...

Went to a Halloween party last-minute on Saturday & family friend gave me his Dad's Pentax ME, 2 extra lenses, some of those fun '70s filters, AND two unexposed rolls of expired Superia400Xtra
