i was incredibly excited to be published by the hopkins review a few years ago. it was something i’d read since undergrad.
if they were looking for a way to suck every dram of good will i had for their press or their university out and spit it into an open sewer, baller move, i guess.

Oh no ... I am utterly speechless. The, late great, and brilliant Karl Ameriks has passed away. We have lost such a bright star! He was an excellent scholar, historian and Philosopher. :(
