Very moving visit to Thiaroye today. This is the site where Senegalese soldiers just returned from having participated in the Liberation of France were massacred by the French. Excavations are ongoing to find more bodies in the mass graves. Recent estimates by scholars put death toll at 300-400.

I love the smell of Uhu in the evening, it smells like victory. Mix of Hinchcliffe, Foundry, Great Escape, Copplestone, Perry and 3DBreed all awaiting a break in the shitty English weather to prime. #DeadMansHand #WhatACowboy

With great trepidation. That dang saloon is back. Had to saw off loads of tabs to put it together but it will work, because the Old West was dusty and dirty. There will be LED lighting inside. On to the hotel tomorrow, wish me luck.

3D printers for minis... if anyone knows of a specific reason why I should NOT invest (indulge) in a Bambu Labs A1 Mini please speak now or forever hold thy peace. For doing stuff like NPC civilians, greebles, scenery bits I don't want to spend ££€€$$ on.

Think my pigment weathering needs more practice but I'm okay with my #festivetankchallenge Sherman for now. Strangely a Crusader seems to have been assembled this afternoon. Too cold to prime so back to the Old West tomorrow hopefully.

Primed the Sherman in Desert Yellow and will lighten up with some Light Stone concoction. So its definitely a GB North Africa tank, to support my 28 Maori.

Ha ha, I had a night off the booze for dad taxi duty and was about to get started on #festivetankchallenge, however realised I have no ABS cement for this Rubicon kit. Glue due Tue. Gonna be a Kiwi Sherman for Tunisia rather than my original plan for a Soviet Emcha.
