The only one of its kind in HK, Tsing Yi's Chun Kwan Temple is a palimpsest of the migration patterns and maritime culture that shaped this island.

Writing this story was a fun opportunity to learn more about a part of HK I'd spent far too little time in before. Hopefully, you enjoy reading it too!
Pirates, Magic and Neon: Tsing Yi’s Chun Kwan Temple
Hong Kong's only neon-lit temple is also unique in another sense: it's dedicated to Chun Kwan a god with a very specific purview.

dwarf fortress bugs come in 3 flavors:
1. preposterous bullshit that is a complete edge case but sounds funny
2. minor tweak needed to avoid legacy code in cat self-adoption causing cats to inevitably catch fire and burn fortresses down
3. spanish inquisition grade suburban wine mom heresy
"babies are born worshipping unknown gods" is one of the most incredible dwarf fortress bugs i have heard of. its poetry.
