Once I was dating this girl and we went to the gym together the morning after the NBA all-star game and the highlights were on the TV and I saw some big old dunks and laughed in amazement at two of them. This girl then laughed heartily at every other highlight and I've never been more embarrassed.

This is almost exactly what the school district social media pages I run say except it's kids just... At school. I'll come to your work and do this if you pay me, too.
Sometimes I think about how funny it would be if regular workplaces operated like sports teams. Seeing a post from my company's social media account like "Allison putting in the work 💪" and it's just a picture of me sending emails.

I looked up the lyrics to a bad bunny song hoping to be able to own some silly tpusa weirdos but unfortunately it turns out they're not TOTALLY wrong. The whole first verse is about topless dancers and drug users and alcohol and how cops are crooked and prostitution—oh wait no sorry this is Kid Rock

Woah woah woah. I mean, let's not give Amazon Prime TOO much credit here.
SWALWELL: You said you wanted to see a deportation process that was 'like Amazon Prime but with human beings.' How many times has Amazon Prime shot a mom 3 times in the face?

LYONS: None

SWALWELL: How many times has Amazon Prime shot a nurse 10 times in the back?

LYONS: None

Why did so many of the best athletes of this age (Matthew and I are five months apart) have this exact same haircut at 9 years old? I could've told you that kid was the star without the circles and been one hundred percent confident. What did good athletes' moms know and how did they know it?
Here's a photo of my and current NFL MVP Matthew Stafford's third grade basketball team

He was good, the rest of us were not

Trying to imagine something that would actually bring down this unstoppable freight train. I kinda think if all this doesn't then nothing will. Maybe an economic crisis? Is that the best bet?

(Side note remember access Hollywood lol what fools we were)

Oh now it's a crime to have fun? The woke mob's little feels are hurt because this guy likes to party? Well you know who else likes to party? The DEMOCRAT PARTY. Once upon a time a great sage you've gotta fight for your right to party and I'm very proud that our great president is doing that.
Blanche: It's not a crime to party with Mr. Epstein.

Moment of clarity I'm trying to convince myself is true:

It's hard to allow yourself peace when you know others are suffering. But the truth is we have never once experienced peace at a time that others were not suffering. There is always suffering. Every moment of our lives, someone suffers. 1/3

Yeah this is the thing. If you were seriously concerned about people committing serious crimes you would just, uh, enforce the law. There's a whole legal system for this. It's by no means foolproof but being killed by an immigrant is not worse than being killed by your husband. Charge them. Not this
I keep hearing the same argument from MAGA:

"What about all the citizens murdered by illegals".

Then get a warrant and go arrest them!

Don't patrol the streets terrorizing everyone, arresting children at schools and US citizens because you don't know who to arrest. See the difference?

The extremely effective weird and easily disprovable lie that it's all paid protesters is an interesting one. Would it mean more to you if you believed they were real angry people? I know it wouldn't. So why do you need the lie?

How did nobody say anything after the first one. Maybe the true DNC crisis is in good aide work. At least they figured out how to post it in the same aspect ratio they filmed it.
Seahawks vs. Rams calls for a little friendly competition with @congressmin.bsky.social. Game on!

I'm sadly only a one out of two here, but there's a very high chance someone reading this is a 2/2! Get angry and write!

It's ok guys, the Democratic establishment is totally fine and absolutely up to the challenge of this moment.
Seahawks vs. 49ers means it’s time for a friendly wager 🏈 @pelosi.house.gov & I are ready for Saturday.

Just putting this in here for the time capsule.

The thing about ICE is you can't just look at the horrifying treatment of American innocents and illegal rights abuses. If it were just that, I mean, sure. Abolish, easy. But then you'd lose all the good they're doing, like terrorizing families and destroying what made America great. So.

Noem is awful and yeah, sure get rid of her. But she's not the problem. She's just the symptom. They'll just get some other equally terrible person to do equally terrible things for them. It's gotta be more than this. We need a whole personality adjustment as a country.
Over 50 Dems have signed on to co-sponsor articles of impeachment against Noem.

Hopefully when they exhume the ashes of this failed, hateful civilization and wonder whether any of us stood against the atrocities or if we all just quietly held our noses and went about our lives, they'll find my good posts.

The fact that murdering a woman isn't even that high on the list of the worst atrocities this agency has committed on purpose recently feels significant somehow, not that it, or anything else, matters.

... Good ones?
For Steelers fans who want Mike Tomlin out, I honestly think Harbaugh's dismissal is the first step toward getting your wish.

Those 2 and Reid are the pillars of a bygone era of coaches.

There's going to be so many good reels of congresspeople dunking on administration officials and then absolutely nothing at all happening after. I can wait.
I look forward to several weeks of Congressional hearings about this stuff and then literally zero follow up at all.
