If Democratic politicians do not fight this because it's a "distraction," it will simply happen. They need to get in front of every mic and say that we will not allow Trump to destroy American history. He wants a culture war? GIVE HIM ONE. There are no distractions. Have every fight.

Perhaps those National Guard members from South Carolina should stay in SC to help people with a hurricane instead of going to DC? Just a thought.

I don't know... you think maybe these ICE shenanigans and the tariff nonsense might have some impact on the creation of jobs? Or how about wholesale firing of government workers?

COVID’s still killing 350+ Americans a week. Why? Because MAGA brain rot turned public health into a culture war. Low boosters, ignored meds, this is what anti-vax propaganda costs. It’s not just ignorance. It’s negligence. #COVID19 #VaccinesSaveLives
COVID is back in a big way: Over 350 people are dying from the coronavirus in the U.S. each week, says CDC data
Despite available vaccines and treatments, COVID-19 continues to cause an average of 350 deaths weekly in the U.S., according to the CDC. Low vaccination rates, waning immunity, and delayed treatment ...

I said it would get worse very quickly. By tomorrow we will have completed the most dangerous & frightening 24 hours thus far of Trump 2.0. Just to name a few:
1. Defiance of a court order by sending migrants to Sudan without due process (despite clear DP decision SCOTUS) & Dist. CT. order.

The part everybody forgets about, but which we “learned” during COVID, is that if no ships are coming in, there aren’t any empty containers around to us to do any exporting, either.
April 23, 2025 - Port of Seattle is empty. Only one ship and no containers. Usually a busy port.

Update: The Office of Government Ethics has "no comment" on its acting director, Jamieson Greer, also being Trump's U.S. Trade Rep -- meaning the guy in charge of investigating whether Trump engaged in insider trading with his tariffs is also the guy who advises Trump on tariffs.

Can't make it up!
