♥️ Happy Valentines from Waddeston Manor in Buckinghamshire, where you’ll find one of the most unusual modern romantic follies in Britain.

the last week has contained So Many 'ai' issue surveys, that all screen out when you answer 'no thanks' or 'don't trust'... the most egregious was one for the DoE about AI in schools that screened out the offspring for saying 'nope, you can't train on my schoolwork' as their opinion. massaging much?

Beautiful piece of (graphic design) history...
Here is a fascinating document from the the late 1940s. It was produced for the County Council of the West Riding of Yorkshire by the Bureau of Current Affairs and is a digest of information and statistics about the Council. It picks up on a number of interesting themes... 🧵

Always nice when Swarovski try to make themselves cool again.

Because then a whole new generation get to learn they were S-Tier Nazis in the 30s/40s.

"Enthusiastic funders/organizers even when the party was still banned" level.

"So bad they supressed their own commissioned official history" level
It’s nice that swarovski crystals decided to make Funko Pops for people who are probably in the files

Ah the joys of modern parcel services. Nice to see they've actually got it and it's out for delivery. Now to watch the van repeatedly circle your house for five hours just out of reach as it follows some byzantine drop off route.

I'm going to share a very good story about the internet. I won't tell it well because I apparently have the flu, but I think we all need a good story about the internet.

It starts in 2021, when I took a sabbatical and got a little workspace to write a design book.

'Do you have gin?'

"I was more envisaging tea."

'It's far too early for tea.'

I think I'd like to marry Bundle.
