I need you to listen to and share this story - of how Trump is preparing to abandon Ukraine in exchange for Russian money for his billionaire friends.

It could be the greatest corruption of American foreign policy in our history. Russia gets Ukraine. Trump's friends get rich.

This a big deal: "China’s carbon dioxide emissions have been flat or falling for 18 months"

China's economy has grown by ~5% in the last year, so this comprehensively debunks the idea (again) that emissions are tied to growth. So yes, faster progress needed, but this is how you turn the corner.

These false beliefs do not arise in a vacuum. Yet we seem collectively incurious about their origins.
Nearly half of British adults believe a majority of immigrants to this country in the last year came here illegally.
Just under a third (32%) believe the majority came here legally and a further one in five (20%) don't know.

The electronics that are and will be wasted is terrible. When we need more rare earth materials, and copper, and gold etc. having it all burn up in the atmosphere is so wasteful.

💡 UK electricity bills are high — but don’t blame net zero.
A new @carbonbrief.org factcheck shows it's expensive gas, not renewables, that’s driving up costs.

Gas set the market price 98% of the time in 2021, even when cheaper wind & solar were available.
