Look, all I'm asking for is a chill easy life that is also a grand adventure full of achievement. Just a nice cozy comfy journey beyond the normal bounds of the human condition that will be told in song and story forever. I don't think that's too much to ask.
Extreme weath and power melt your brain, and some way of protecting people from its corrosive influence is needed.

Without thinking too hard, I read my 3 y.o. a story from a book of Celtic fairy tales. Now she regularly asks to hear the tale of Mally Whuppy, a plucky lass who tricks a giant into murdering and cannibalizing his own daughters. She loves it.
