I just don’t think we’re freaking out enough about this SNAP cut. I have spent my whole career working with people who rely on SNAP for food. People who work multiple jobs. Who have kids. What do you think happens when 1/8th of the population can’t buy food anymore? Everything is going to collapse.

Since I can remember, I have always loved radio. When I was a child, whether I was studying or playing, the radio was always on. It was a natural response for a curious and exuberant child like me living in the rural areas of the Great Hungarian Plain who wanted to let the world in. /1

Everything that’s happened over the past six months has been a response to an imaginary crisis. There is no immigrant invasion. No trade crisis. No scientific or governance crisis. Just people completely high off their own supply trying to fundamentally reorder society. None of this had to happen.
