It's worth restating: audit this administration; where is all of this money? Thank you, HCR on your explanation of why Trump cries out that tariff recalls are a "national emergency"! Watch her on Youtube.
Amendment which strikes section which “allows senators who were legally subpoenaed during the January 6 criminal conspiracy investigation to get millions of dollars deposited into their bank accounts at taxpayer expense” voted down by Republicans

Trump's winning hand--pardons and tariffs! A felon executing pardons seems like an oxymoron with the emphasis on MORON!

It's driving me batty that nobody except Heather Cox Richardson, the Washington Monthly, and myself is covering Trump's race to sell off (for likely demolition) "the Sistine Chapel of the New Deal," w/ murals by Ben Shahn, Philip Guston, etc. I've furnish links below to help reporters get started.

The Snake-Oil-Commander-in-Chief doing what he loves best: promoting shoddy products. Too bad for America that so many bought his shoddiest product: himself.
Some bizarre stuff going down in the Oval these days. After spraying the Syrian president with his Trump Fragrance he then asks him how many wives he has.

Heather Cox Richardson argues that the recent shutdown, caused by the GOP, was novel in that Trump doesn't care about 98% of Americans. He inflicted great cruelty by using the shutdown to revoke SNAP, to close airports, to refuse back pay for federal workers, and continue to pay ICE agents, etc.

I am tired of hearing from the left (and I am a proud Democrat with liberal leftist allegiances) that Trump's cronies are not telling him about actual grocery and gas prices, economic hardship, etc. Are we just going to continue to accept his excuse, "I didn't know about that." Trump is culpable!

You know, I love Joe Biden but I am so tired of hearing about how the media would have treated him if he had acted like Trump. Biden's name should never appear in the proximity of Trump. I agree with Nancy Pelosi that Trump is an EVIL man full stop!
There would not have been enough space on the opinion pages of newspapers or segments on cable news to cover the amount of outrage that the media would have directed at Joe Biden if he did not know the standard duration of a home mortgage, but Trump? Crickets.

Don't you mean "Bend over' not "Bow down" ?
They who surrender to bullies will bow down twice as quickly the next time the bully comes calling.

Impeach and Recall them all!
Listen Kaine, Hassan, King, Cortez-Masto, Durbin, Shaheen, Rosen, and Fetterman. You're NOT gonna take away my 2025 election joy. We voted in that election for folks to FIGHT for us. That doesn't include YOU.

YOU are what we voted AGAINST last Tuesday. So I'm gonna hang on to that.

TRUMP
We live in the richest country in the history of the world, and we’re the only wealthy nation that doesn’t guarantee health care. Now we’re arguing over whether people deserve food. Explain it to me like I’m five because I don’t get it.
November 12, 2025 at 6:01 AM
Really? Trump could have pardoned anyone, anywhere at anytime and he has. The shutdown was not a mere distraction but an exercise of authoritarian power and unbelievable cruelty that exposed Trump and the GOP for the fascists that they are!! Shame on the Demos who caved. No skin off their backs!
77 pardons of insurrectionists while we were all distracted by the shutdown.

NOW it’s all coming together.

Wow! A simple solution that makes sense.
My political hot take is that US voters should be able to recall elected representatives via petition - at any time.
No more hiding behind election terms.

We need to remove all the perks that politicians legislated for themselves. That would include health care insurance, per diem for food, and a salary that exceeds that of a nurse or firefighter. Volunteer! Oh, and no one should be paid a salary for NOT WORKING!!

LOL
Frankly, I’m now wondering if even Schumer is in the Epstein files.
November 12, 2025 at 5:45 AM
Of course! Now, how can we change the new cycle to feature Anti-Trump plans and actions and relegate Trump's criminal acts to the background? Removing the limelight from Trump will result in a reverse-vampire phenomenon where Trump shrivels in the shadows!
A couple months back, I was curious as to how Bill Pulte was able to obtain Lisa Cook and Letitia James' mortgage documents. Today, the WSJ reports that he was actually under investigation for how he obtained them. www.wsj.com/finance/regu...

Kid, you should have stopped talking at "I don't sing . . ." I would boycott you and Jason Aldean and Carrie Underwood, but I never listen to you or buy your records anyway. So disappointing to discover that you have no integrity, no mind of your own, no musical talent and yet you appear on stage.

Defund these criminals in police uniforms. This is illegal assault. This is America. Impeach, then imprison, Trump and the rest of his quislings.

And what would that look like? Any concrete plans? Anyone?
Authoritarianism can only succeed when democracy fails to deliver for working people.

Authoritarian parties can only succeed when the pro-democracy parties fail to fight for working people.

We need a new democracy and a new party system which can represent working people.

Don't most homeowners want to have their homes paid off during their lifetime? That should certainly compute.
Communicating why a 50 year mortgage costs more, overall, than a 30 year mortgage should not be a hard task.

The problem is the average American is both functionally illiterate and innumerate, as a deliberate result of decades of the policies made by the very people pushing for 50 year mortgages.

The American people need protection from those who seek to exploit the workers for every last penny.

Some decry this view as "socialism."

I call it fair.
