I’m not interested in books peddled by venture capitalists (most likely written by ChatGPT) who are riding a trend to make a quick buck and are more about aesthetics than any love for literature. Also, this is a total vanity project and that in of itself is a hard pass.

This, this, this! Pretty much everywhere you go and everything you do in America you encounter Black art, history, language, music, food, and accomplishments. It's especially true in the South.
If all you think about Black Southern History and all you bring up is slavery? Then you are missing out. Black southern history and culture is not about suffering. It's about art, history, language, music, food, and our accomplishments.
"Black people just move to a Blue State" is such out of touch bullshit. And what about the Indigieous folks or the Chicanx folks? We just leave them behind to suffer while we have to deal with the passive aggressive anti-Blackness that Blue states are known for?

I’ve been following discussions on The Witcher and the general consensus is that this season is bad. It’s not Liam’s fault, I’m sure he’s doing the best with what he was given, but having to fill the shoes of person before you who made the role iconic is hard and a tough sell.
