As a GM, I decided to try to create more immersion in the game & started playing with sounds & ambience for first time this evening (turned down really low to not cause distraction). For those that use sounds and ambience regularly, what do you use? I was using a mix of YouTube and tabletop audio.

Enjoyed starting GM’ing The One Ring 2e Starter set with my group today. Can tell this mini campaign will be a lot of fun :)

So, I never played D&D, nor is it on my agenda really (I prefer low fantasy). But I do love Tolkien & am learning The One Ring 2e. Anyone who has played TOR, is it like D&D or pathfinder in anyway? Just curious as there seems to be a couple of similarities in the system (a few big differences too).

Any of the CoC players/GM’s ran full fathom five? Wondering if it’s suitable for a 4 hour slot at Holloween at the local shop- I have no idea who the players would be or if they will have any experience of Cthulhu.
The 4 hours is max so can’t go beyond that- ‘tis my worry. TIA
