I trick computers in to doing what people want. I skeet badly, and only in a personal capacity.

a cautionary tale in operating in the same folder as the source material - it looks like they ran a converter, the converter said "can't process that in to a PDF" _but the source file remained_ bsky.app/profile/ziib...

Just had to submit a refund request on Steam. All I wrote was “I am far too stupid to play this game”

Refunded an hour later, thank you valve

Damnit. Meant to pick up some Albert Bartlett potatoes but accidentally got the Stephen Bartlett ones and they won’t shut up about why women are bad

One of my hobbies is replacing DC power supplies with USB-C trigger cables with DC jacks on t'other end.

I will not be buying 6 AAA batteries for my label printer, no, you are becoming USB-C like everything should be

Look I’m not gonna bash the latest iOS for being an absolute UI nightmare but whoever put a random number generator on my unread email icon really should have been stopped

It has no idea if I have 12 or 13 unread emails and alternates between the two

Keep remembering a dream about a persistent ad campaign from National Lottery trying to explain that they are introducing 0 (Zero) as a number and retiring 26. They kept saying how the probability wasn't affected but gave no info on why 26 was going or why 0 was logically a replacement, not, say, 60

My "new" keyboard is older than me! The seller bolt-modded it which saves me doing it, but I have upgraded it to USB internals (saving the original parts, of course).

It weighs over 2 kilograms, is monumentally noisy because of the buckling springs, and I love it.

Funny how things change. Desktop apps used to be the best way to use most services. Now it seems to be the web version.

- Apple Music for desktop literally can't keep shuffle enabled
- Outlook/OneDrive for Android can't open .msg attachments

But the website versions can!

Silly, I know, but hard to overestimate how great #TheTraitors has become for getting us through miserable January. Proper public service broadcasting.

New phone has an always-on screen. I know I could turn it off, but I try to keep with defaults rather than fight them. I am finding it SO HARD to get used to. The screen being on means I have a notification! Except it doesn't any more!

Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.

Every time the police here seize a bunch of drugs and post about it on Facebook, there is always the comment “Is this item still available?” and I think that’s great
