I truly, deeply hope that every one of you out there reading this has warm, dry shelter and a full belly tonight. It's so heartbreaking to think of how many out there don't. The chain reaction to cruelty the likes of which we're witnessing goes so far up the chain. I hope you are all spared from it.

am i seeing this wrong? @nytimes.com

the word "edge" here is doing a lot of work, because that looks like a very big spike. lol

I found this post insightful about the controlled yet contradictory information being released about the CK murder and the effects of that dynamic on us as individuals and a population:

you never know how your strong, intentional #parenting lands.

years ago, when my daughter was starting on social, we did an experiment. she checked out my timelines + i scrolled through hers. the differences were wild.

i need to leave these lands behind! 🥾
Monthly reminder: Many people have a book in them, but it takes a special kind of freak to leave the Land of Laziness, cross the Plains of Procrastination and Insecurity Mountain, find the Blade of No One Made You Do This, and use it to cut your chest open and yank that book out.

even though talking and caring about *dive/sity* isn't as cool anymore, please continue to being aware of your spaces.

who is being represented where you are vs. who is not?

...and what are you doing to give those voices a little room?

what if we integrate a few simple habits and action to harness our collective power:

- shop as much as possible local.
- no movies, it’s a distraction. Pedro fans can wait a bit.
- create community pantries and gathering spaces.

community is what’s going to save us.

a "Michael" from an org. we've been trying to work with called two weeks ago and left a non-working number.

i tried calling several of their general numbers last week + no returned call.

today, i called every Michael in their directory. lol

i had a little bit of time.

this! critics keep labeling him as a “raging” this and that.

yet I’ve been unable to find anything remotely showing that. unless people have clearly witnessed it, or have actual proof, they’re being sloppy continuing to push this storyline. Jeffries should know better.
you know, if i were in the position of interviewing jeffries here, i would ask the congressman to specify exactly when and where mamdani used that language.
