Bullet Train had two seconds of Ryan Reynolds in it and it still felt like an overindulgent amount of screen time

According to UNESCO, creating a single pair of jeans consumes 2866 gallons of water. So when you see the viral post going around about how asking 5-8 questions to ChatGPT consumes a glass of water ... remember that one less pair of jeans in your wardrobe = 114,640 questions you can ask ChatGPT.
Which Industries Use the Most Water?
How do the industries that use the most water stack up in their usage habits, and which sectors are doing the most for conservation efforts?

Lol I just realized we’re going to have to deal with a FOURTH Trump presidential campaign, and basically another every four years for as long as he lives
The press coverage of the 2024 race is starting to look a lot like 2016. Poll-driven coverage, focused on the horserace, is once again creating a dangerous false equivalence between Biden's age and Trump's crimes. www.messageboxnews.com/p/the-press-...
Biden's Age, Trump Crimes and the Media's False Equivalence
Biden's age is a legitimate story, but the political press is covering it all wrong

There’s a hundred million strangers sharpening their knives for internet cred across social media. Totally worth just ignoring it
My general opinion is that “good vibes only” is not a great strategy for life but is a perfectly good — possibly optimal — one for social media. If someone makes you furrow your brow a millimeter, go ahead and block, this is just a weird little phone app we’re hanging out on for a minute

Neil has been patiently educating the “destroy all copyright” people for days. They won’t learn; it’s not a legalistic discussion but a religious belief. People need to understand that, in our currently existing world, artists need protection, to get paid, to make art. Not everything can be free
We do. It's 90 years from creation for a corporation. That's the law.

All "tech is politically biased to the left" claims need to be filtered through the fact that bad tech reporting at Gizmodo and bad faith Congressional conservative takes set the baseline as "it's censorship when you don't promote right-wing blogs as news or shadowban overt racists."

ppl bag on cishet men so much bc often their sexuality is rooted in objectification (this is societal). so when they find u sexually attractive, they stop seeing u as a whole person & act accordingly (this feels bad). the cool thing abt this is they can def learn to recognize it & like. not do that
