there is much pain in this world but not on this porch
not out of nowhere.. they’re reading number the stars. i was like well. after the war in ur book, our country’s leaders invited a lot of the nazis to work for them. theyre still here & right now they’re kidnapping & killing mostly brown people but also people who try to stop them. just like the book
yesterday my kid asked if there are any countries that are safe from nazis
always so funny to me when people are like “how am I supposed to explain Gay to my kids?” my kid asks me way harder shit all the time. “why did they build the road this way? why are some people bad?” I don’t know. please ask me about Gay

what i do with people is an art too. i perfected managing my parents emotions as a child. now i don’t manage anyone’s for them, but i do understand them, & they don’t scare me away from figuring shit OUT
