Odd that the DoJ is opening an investigation into the Epstein files since they said in July that there was no client list and nothing to release.

I just don’t see how we can pretend even for a moment that anything involving our federal government is remotely normal when the president is covering up his involvement in a child sex trafficking ring. Like, what are we doing here

The DOJ is suing to stop California’s redistricting map. Apparently vote approved maps are a problem, but partisan gerrymanders done without public input are just democracy working as intended?

Don't miss this convo with @repyassansari.bsky.social. Important voice in the Democratic Party right now. So much good stuff from her in here:
"Every time I've been a network about this issue, they’re quick to say, *Trump has not been implicated.* Well, there are emails now that say he spent hours w/victims & knew what was happening."

Never forget the same people defending pedophilia have spent years trying to convince the public that drag queens and trans people are a threat to children.

It’s all smoke and mirrors to allow the real predators to roam free.

The Democrats Must Be Purged Of Their Centrists

The only way for the majority to achieve much-needed reform and progress is to cull the Democratic Party and establishment institutions of centrists who are now complicit with the MAGA agenda.

the thing that strikes me about this — again, besides it being false — is the venom and disrespect for the people who come here to work and build better lives. they aren’t “servants.”

Whoa! Immigrants come here with nothing and the next thing you know they’re buying houses that established citizens cannot afford? Those enterprising newcomers sound like just the sort of folks we need. Never mind that JD’s premise is as BS as his 30M number.
JD Vance: "A lot of young people are saying housing is way too expensive. Why is that? Because we flooded the country with 30 million illegal immigrants who were taking houses that ought by right go to American citizens."

you could fact check this — there aren’t 30 million illegal immigrants and there is no evidence that the presence of an immigrant in say houston has any impact on housing in madison, wisconsin — or you could note straightforwardly that this is just nazi rhetoric
