In the age of AI, Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein gets the monster right:

-Preening college dropout founder desperate to troll and provoke
-Secures financing from war profiteer
-Unethically harvests key materials for startup from people living and dead without consent
-Takes 0 responsibility
Guillermo del Toro's 'Frankenstein' gets the monster right for the age of AI
Too bad he lets the founders off easy.

🚨 1/6 of all UK commercial fish stocks are in an overfished state and STILL being overexploited ❌🐟

How can anyone justify overfishing these struggling stocks? It can only lead to empty seas, devoid of life 📉

Creed is changing hands again. The new owner - L’Oréal. Because nothing says “exclusive niche” like the world’s biggest mass market beauty conglomerate. A win for L’Oréal perfume division though.

It seems designers had a much sharper sense of humour back in the 1950. What a bottle for a perfume named “Sport”! (Also, this is possible an official collaboration between Schiaparelli and the champagne maker Mumm?) #fragrance

Niche perfume is big business. Memo has been a fragrance juggernaut for a while. So I guess replacing the founder with former L’Oréal executive as CEO is only logical. I wonder what happens with the Molloys (the founders). Will they still be involved?

Wrapped up the TFWA week in Cannes. For the uninitiated- it’s the most important niche perfume event of the year. 5 days when everybody who has anything to say in the scent world descends on the Croisette boulevard to shape the next year in fragrance.

Can a Family Resurrect the American Chestnut Tree in Appalachia?
Virginia family farmers have planted American chestnut seedlings that come from an old grove that survived the 20th century blight. Will the trees survive?
