Funny as this is, after reading the article Team Cherry sounds like they've had the healthiest game dev experience possible and I love that for them. I'm glad they've had fun making the game this whole time, and that they gave it the time they felt it needed. I'm sure it will show in the game!

I haven't been active here recently. That's because I just moved back up to WA (Kirkland)! I had really been missing the PNW and all my friends here. I'm hoping to connect with more of the Seattle game dev scene now that I'm back in the area, so Seattle folks reading this feel free to reach out!

So upset about this. Cliffhanger is a studio I'd been watching, seemed to be full of very talented folks working on something cool. Incredibly disappointing to see EA continue to wreak havoc on devs' livelihoods in pursuit of impossible profit. My condolences and well wishes to those impacted.
really, really upsetting to see what's been happening at EA over the last several months. it feels like it's every month just about, another thing shut down.

So upset about this. Cliffhanger is a studio I'd been watching, seemed to be full of very talented folks working on something cool. Incredibly disappointing to see EA continue to wreak havoc on devs' livelihoods in pursuit of impossible profit. My condolences and well wishes to those impacted.
I guess it speaks to my selective following habits that I only ever see vague allusions to (or memes about) discourse happening, without ever seeing it myself. Apparently there's some discussion about parrying??

It's so exciting to see all these great new games coming out and being well received! We eatin good this spring it seems.
Gives me some hope for the industry, but also just makes me hype to start playing these. As soon as I find some time... And finish the games I'm already playing...

Glad I don't get my care thru PP, but this is disappointing and harmful to folks that do. Providers need to stand up for the people they claim to care for.
