Our book rethinks prime-ministerial performance by asking: What tasks must PMs fulfill in parliamentary democracies? Using a "delegation chain" framework, we identify 2 core tasks:
1️⃣ Running state affairs (e.g., cabinet conflicts, policies, crises).
2️⃣ Maintaining parliamentary & party support.
