I was really concerned that fucked up billionaire gay Bond villains who want to replace most of the human race with robots so they can live forever by draining the blood of young nubile slaves weren’t getting enough representation in government.

Charlie Kirk’s Legacy Deserves No Mourning
The white Christian nationalist provocateur wasn’t a promoter of civil discourse. He preached hate, bigotry, and division

“His model of politics was not dialogue, but trolling: hopping from campus to campus to bait students, churn out sound bites, and spread hate. And his rhetoric was not debate—it was violent, dehumanizing, and designed to put targets on people’s backs.”

We must not posthumously sanitize Charlie Kirk's hateful life
Opinion: While condemning violence is something most can get behind, the sanitization of Charlie Kirk's hate has gone too far, argues Erin Reed.

NEW: No, Charlie Kirk was not practicing politics the right way. That's what Ezra Klein said. We can condemn this heinous assassination but also recognize that with his 2020 election denialism and extremist rhetoric, Kirk built his movement with falsehoods and in a wrong and divisive manner.

This is such a funny element to the Kirk eulogizing: they can’t describe him the way they’re describing him *and* show clips of anything he actually said or did
I haven’t seen one news channel show a clip of him speaking in the last 4 hours

That Pritzker press conference was... surreal, and I think marks a significant moment of escalation in the constitutional omni-crisis. This was the governor of a state saying plainly the Union itself is being torn apart and his state is being militarily invaded by an authoritarian regime.

You can't use reason and logic with MAGA. Some primitive societies and more recent cults engage in self-harm or even mass suicide as a way to "cleanse" guilt and shame. The Big Beautiful Bill is essentially throwing masses of people into a volcano to appease the gods. That's all it is.
As I said on MSNBC today, the spin out there that passing this bill will benefit GOP is insane. You don't get positive political results by having an unpopular party pushed by an unpopular President to pass an unpopular bill. Perfect storm of disgust.
