I certainly would not have guessed circa 1997 that he would be the one from the original cast of Buffy who would be the lead on a network show for all but two of the last 30 years
I think this is probably fine - Boreanaz is a reliable actor who can be situationally funny and has even played a (vampire) private eye before. But I think I’d be more excited if NBC had gone a little outside the box, as we were all talking about a month ago.
David Boreanaz to Star in NBC’s ‘Rockford Files’ Reboot
The former ‘SEAL Team,’ ‘Bones’ and ‘Angel’ star will take on a role first played by James Garner.

Fuentes, yesterday: “Our #1 political enemy is women because women constrain everything, every conversation, every man, everything. They have to be imprisoned. They are the ones that are hurting the fertility rate. They're the ones making us sympathetic to poor people, which are also brown people.”
Nick Fuentes: “The number one political enemy in America is women. … They have to be imprisoned.”

Woke isn’t dead. Bad Bunny’s halftime show proved it.

JD Vance on Kaitlyn Collins asking Trump how he feels about Epstein survivors:

“Why does it always have to be so antagonistic? Have some fun. You can’t always take yourself too seriously.”

So according to JD a journalist should have fun asking questions about sexual abuse victims.

I can never get over how funny the opening of Wuthering Heights is. Lockwood's inner monologue is all "Hello, Heathcliff! Like you, I am hot and brooding, so you and I will have A LOT to talk about ;)"

My boring take on Marty Supreme is that if the film is going to build two emotional turning points around ping-pong games, it should actually do the sports movie thing of teaching the audience how to watch ping-pong.
