If United loses to Spurs tomorrow, while it might be humiliating to be the side that lost to Spurs, it could give United and Amorim the time to build cohesion without European football for a season.
It might prove to be beneficial to United's league campaign and the football going forward.

I may be overreacting because it's so fresh in my mind, but Rasmus Højlund might be the worst number 9 I've ever seen in the Premier League, but definitely United's worst.
