So the Democrats leaving Texas was just a show. They went back. Republicans will still get the vote they wanted and the result they wanted. "We'll fight it in the courts!" Sure, the courts that R's have been rigging for years.

They bought the politicians, they monopolized every industry, they bought the media, they rigged the elections, and now they've funded secret police and concentration camps. There's no coming back from this. The only recourse is armed uprising. Tyranny only ends if we make it.

I love when my cats get weirdly suspicious that some mundane object suddenly could be a threat. My cat thought the remote was a snake or something and kept staring at it and jumping slightly. I had to flip it over and show the buttons before my cat calmed down.

I just wanted this type of social media for DnD. I didn't want to endlessly doomscroll our nation's decline into fascism. I wanted silly cats and funny memes. Now it's all doom all day, and I feel like I'm a worse person if I try to look away.

The only thing that will fix this and stop our out of control inflation would be profit margin regulation, but every corporation will buy whichever election they need to prevent that from ever occurring.
Here’s the thing about the tariffs: there will be no “short term pain”. Only long term. Every time a company realizes they can get away with charging you extra they don’t ever lower the price again. They just gouge. Whatever price hikes there are will be here for good.

I'm a security guard (not a cop) at a high school that is about 3/4 Hispanic and about 1/4 Muslim. With everything going on, let me tell you the kids are SCARED. Many of them asked what would happen if ICE came to the school. I told them that ICE is not allowed into the school, and I'd enforce that.
