As someone who has two full shelves of Tanith Lee and will read anything her name is on, this is 100% Accurate. My Lady of Lee pulls NO punches and will go ALL out. Absolutely ADORE her. (And queer af)
I see many citing Tanith Lee as a good fantasy author to replace some tarnished names, which is great, love her, but do be aware she is balls to the wall, knee deep in the genre trenches, not safe for work or safe in any way, a wizard will sexually assault a horse skull and it's only chapter three

I started tearing up about 7ish minutes in and continued to sob into a crumpled napkin for ... basically the rest of the film's run time. @tlbodine.bsky.social didn't even find it awkward, this happens thru all of del Toro's films.

The system is consistently failing EVERYONE it was "designed to help," so we have to help each other.
They are dangerously close to foreclosing on their house and can't even get a callback from the hospital. Any donations to at least keep them housed while we try to find SOME kind of solution would be a literal lifesaver.

Y'all this situation is fucked. See the newest update. The hospital canceled a necessary surgery without even providing a price quote, and the so-called advocacy team is not responsive. I am looking for resources that can help. Please drop ideas in this thread and boost this. Give if you can.
