What is J.D. Vance even referring to? Thuringia, for example, was a stronghold of the Nazi party - it was the first German state (Land) where a Nazi (Wilhelm Frick) became a minister. Today it is also a stronghold of the most radical, racist and anti-Semitic #AfD politicians.
