For day 212 of #TheDiegeticShuffle, @ithiliel.bsky.social found this smooth sax player in the Outlaws DLC, jamming on a raised platform. It wasn't until the Wild Card DLC soundtrack was released a few weeks later that we learned it was "Outer Rim Rhapsody" by @codymatthewjohnson.bsky.social.

Cody Matthew Johnson talks about his process for "translating" lyrics into an alien language (Myrran?) for the city of Myrra in Star Wars: Outlaws. Very cool stuff—we've come a long way from pulling random tiles from Scrabble and Perquackey for "Lapti Nek"!
1/3 yea! So Ive talked about this a little bit on podcasts, interviews, and the like, but effectively the hope was to not necessarily use an identifiable existing in-universe language - I didn't want to take players out of the intentional immersionof the cantinas by hiding too many easter ...
