It’s all one fight
Everything that threatens the status quo upsets the top beneficiaries of the status quo, including women's rights, anti-racism, environmental protection, climate action, any mild redistribution of wealth, etc. and that's been true at least since 19th c. opposition to abolition and women's suffrage.

One of the things I always laugh at in disaster movies is when a random guy in his backyard makes a space discovery and no one will listen to him when in reality hundreds of randos across the world are constantly feeding data to NASA.
