I'm trying to parse whether this is out of genuine unknowingness. If you opt to call yourself Black American as a bonifide immigrant, then you technically should be able to recognize the cultural impact and influence. To me, they look like Destiny's Child, Aaliyah, Xscape, and Missy Elliott clones.

Bc a lot of those (mainly white) folks don't hate the machine. They hate it being pointed at them. They want the police. They want ICE. But not this version of it. It's not abolish they fear. It's the idea behind it. Losing their way to control and punish the "others".
