Standing next to the Thomas Tompion clock (c. 1690) in the Fitzwilliam Museum. He is known as the 'father of English clockmaking'. It has a complex astrolab and a 24 hour chapter ring. A milestone object in the history of time keeping - simply priceless.

HamClock is an amazing piece of software. And it is free. It works best, and most reliably, on a Raspberry Pi. However, the Pi installation is a bit of a hurdle for some.

Here's one of the best step-by-step guides for installing HamClock.

Not too many meteors, but a nice image of the Milky Way and I see Andromeda in there, too (taken with a 14mm f1.8 + Sony A7R, for those interested!)

Ella, my beautiful beagle (also known as Club Dog) finally left us today, after nearly 16 amazing years. She was one of the most charming and loving hounds you could ever hope to meet. I shall miss her terribly. She enriched my life every day as my constant companion. Good bye, little one. ❤️

It has history, and culture and even big ole physical teletype machines which are way cool.
Back 2010 before licenced, i eventually got my Dragon 32 decoding the German WX RTTY. My First Iceland and Costa Rica QSO were RTTY with 10w.
I still don't love RTTY.
