Stede never had a chance to process what happened. He though he lost Ed. And there he is, in front of him and his heart is a little broken too and he just hope he can stay around Ed. Because he loves Ed around.

And even if the blanket is separating them It's enough to feel Ed's weight under it.

Gonna make a lot of people mad here but I’m feeling extra spicy today. Personal feelings only, I’m not here to ship shame.

Name a 0/10 ship:
Stede standing next to Izzy when he’s teaching him how to shoot. I can’t ship people when one has seriously tried to murder the other on multiple occasions. I ship stede and ed because Ed was never going to kill Stede, he wouldn’t be capable of that, even in the scene when Ed threatened to shoot stede unless he stabbed him and yes he stabbed him but we all know what that was really about and it’s totally different than the murderous hate that Izzy had for stede in season one.
