The main victims of ISIS and ISIS-affiliated violence have been Muslim, and there is no planet on which Palestinians (including Hamas) and ISIS would have common cause. The conflation of the Bondi shooters with Palestine is thus at best a moral panic, although more evidently a cynical smear attack.

And note that he never rejected what some sneeringly refer to as "idpol". Never came close to throwing minorities under the bus. On the contrary. The affordability agenda came hand in hand with him actively standing up for those principles. He could never have mobilised his base like this otherwise.

I was today years old when I found out this was a real sentence in a real book: "I felt the need to explain the lightness of my skin tone, as it often acts as a barrier to people understanding that, despite my appearance, I am indigenous to the Land of Israel"
