This is one of the best turkey vulture pictures I've ever seen. Usually they are seen on the ground gnawing away at something that may be barely recognizable. Beautiful perch and lighting, especially of that face only a mother could love!
Here's a nice Turkey Vulture we saw in Cuba with #outstretched wings, for Rob and Alan's #birdoftheday theme. In the Americas, vultures are sometimes called "buzzards" which is a pejorative. But in the UK, "Buzzards" are the common name for many buteos (hawks). Go figure!

Can any #Photoshop people help me out here? I'd like to merge these two photos, but the Automate-Photomerge fails because there's no overlap. I don't mind doing manual positioning, but can't figure out where to even begin with that. #birds #photography #postprocessing

Dec 7th is both a solemn day & a joyful one. Solemn of course because of the anniversary of the Pearl Harbor attack. Joyful because it's the end of Medicare Open Enrollment season and we can look forward to not being drowned in the flood of annoying & misleading #Medicare Advantage #commercials.

Hey #Apple or #Google - How about using that fancy #AI to give me a feature that automatically recognizes fund-raising text messages and automatically replies with a 'Stop' message? (Something I do multiple times daily). That would be a feature I would appreciate. #politics #fundraising.
