Rs are the ones who WANT this. Lower taxes, no govt subsidies on healthcare. They've done all they can to dump ACA since Day 1. We-Dems-are the ones whose party's stated principles inc. govt-subsidized healthcare, healthcare & food for the poor et al. So YES it's up to DEMS to stand up for it.

I’m sad, and pissed off. We couldn’t make it one GD week after our positive election without them tanking it all. Were not the election results validation that we democrats were becoming more unified, that we were heading in the right direction? Then they go and do this. Damn them.
