I am increasingly coming to the conclusion that Trump made all of this up. There is no plan for this. They may now be scrambling to make the Dear Leader’s pronouncement plausibly true, but it was not part of the original plan, which was just a hoorah smash and grab PR stunt.

Everything here except the Go To Bed Early. I live at the base of Pikes Peak, and for 103 years they've been shooting off fireworks - 5 at 9 pm as a test - and the real show is at midnight on the summit. It's spectacular, and tonight it's clear and (relatively) warm. I'll post pics later.

I made triple time for 10 hours NYE '99, when I volunteered to babysit the scanners & wires, after working morning drive.
The following payday, I asked the boss why I was scheduled & she spent all that payroll, when we had 18 hour heads up from Sydney, AU, if everything was going to go sideways?
