Also, the problem is CBP writ large.

“The population of CBP agents and officers who have been arrested since 2005 would make it roughly the nation’s fourth largest police department — equal to the size of the entire Philadelphia police.”

That begins when our elected officials START calling them out and STOP taking their money.

I’m not wrong about this.

Murder. Excessive force. Call it whatever you want, ICE, Trump's bullies, killed a single mother in her neighborhood. A six year old is an orphan.

They shot her in the face at point blank range.

Let it radicalize you.

This is a powerful account and important read on the terror of being detained by ICE during a 'Kavanaugh stop'.

@marisakabas.bsky.social spoke with one Maryland man (originally from Colombia) who was released after several weeks in custody.

Christian Nationalism was the permission structure for this violent attack.

A lot of the people you see arguing against food assistance are actually on food assistance. They work at Walmart or a convenience store and think they are deserving, but others are not.

This is projection and the way that the 1% keep poor people pitted against poor people so they don’t look up.

My thoughts exactly!
I don't feel bad for Usha Vance or Melania Trump.

Neither should you.

They know EXACTLY what they're doing.

Complicit every single step of the way. They chose this. They participate in it to this day. They're all in.

Well said!
Medicare for All would save $450B a year.

Every dollar spent on food stamps generates $1.50-$1.80 in economic activity.

Each dollar going to low-wage workers adds $1.20 to the economy overall.

It’s not about what this country can or can’t afford.

It’s about priorities.
